Rethink the Gabba is committed to preserving and enhancing the quality of life in our diverse neighbourhoods surrounding the Gabba Stadium. Our group aims to provide a unified voice in advocating for responsible development, environmental sustainability, and social equity. Together, we seek to hold accountable those who make decisions that impact our communities, ensuring that planning and development are transparent, inclusive, and considerate of the values and needs of the residents.

Our objectives are.

• Preserving the historical significance and community value of heritage listed East Brisbane State School (EBSS).

• Protecting Raymond Park and other public green space from development and enhancing and maintaining it as a community space.

• Advocating for the responsible use of the Priority development Area (PDA) framework that includes adequate consultation with affected communities.

• Advocating for responsible redevelopment plans for the Gabba stadium and surrounding land that take into account community needs, fiscal responsibility and environmental impact.
